A young mother playing bubble with her baby

Your toddler guide

Newborn guide The final guide in the series of Bounty guides that have provided expert help and advice throughout your pregnancy and through your baby’s first months. As your baby moves towards that milestone first birthday, things really get up and moving, including your toddler! We’ll tell you when to watch for those first steps, how to keep your child safe as he becomes more mobile and independent, and help you keep an eye on how he eats and sleeps, too.

Most children won’t be ready for potty training until sometime between the ages of two and three, but we’ve included a quick guide here, so that you know what to do when the time is right. The toddler years are times of tantrums but true delights as well, and our aim is to help you enjoy those delights to the full.
