And because nothing beats first hand advice, give us your opinion of any baby or parenting product you have used, and tell us, and all the other Bounty members, how you rate it.

How to rate a product

Whatever baby or parenting product you buy, it should pass the test for:

Value for money this doesn’t just mean inexpensive, but could be whether something lasts a long time or is particularly useful or used a lot

Practicality for example, is it easy to assemble/use/fold/clean. If it’s supposed to be waterproof, can it survive a downpour? If it’s designed to be portable, can you carry it without pulling a muscle?

Reliability does it work, first time and every time or do bits fall off/stop working/ need constant adjusting?

Visual appeal it does the job, but does it look good? It may not affect the performance, but design and style are crucial to a product’s appeal and popularity.

Overall quality is it good enough for you to recommend to your best friend?

Give marks out of 5 in each category for each product you review, where 5 is near perfect, does everything you expected it to and more, 3 is good/could do better, and 1 is poor, doesn’t meet your expectations at all. We’ll then tot up your overall rating and it’ll get added to the others posted – so your rating really counts.
